SBCA uses a variety of ways to measure student achievement and student growth:
- The Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) is a part of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). This is the State-wide testing that all students in 3rd - 8th and 11th grades are required to take.
- The California English Language Development Test (CELDT) is given to students who speak another language other than English at home and for students identified as English Learners. It is one measurement of growth in English.
- The Scholastic Reading Inventory (SRI) - a local measure of Lexile scores and academic growth in reading.
Please feel free to contact Mrs. Santana, SBCA Principal, for further questions and/or information.
