Emergent MultiLingual English Learners Committee (EMLAC)

 The Emergent Multilingual English Learner Advisory Committee (EMLAC) is composed of parents who advise the school regarding matters relating to multilingual English learners. English learners are students who are in the process of acquiring academic English. This parent group advises the school on ways to improve student outcomes for students still acquiring English and how best to ensure students are being reclassified English proficient in a timely manner.
